Bowling Green's #1 Choice for Window Tint
Cooler cabin, more privacy, less glare and an interior that doesn't fade. We install Hitek automotive window films, from a cost-effective classic dyed film to true nano-ceramic that rejects up to 88% of infrared heat, all backed by a factory lifetime warranty and installed by hand in our shop.
More Than a Look
Good window film is one of the few upgrades that makes a vehicle more comfortable, safer and better looking at the same time.
Beat the Heat
Our films block up to 99% of harmful UV rays and reduce interior heat, so the cabin stays comfortable on scorching summer days and the A/C doesn't work as hard.
Enhanced Privacy
Enjoy your personal space while driving and keep what's inside your vehicle out of view when it's parked.
Style & Elegance
A sleek, custom look that sharpens the lines of any car, truck or SUV and matches factory privacy glass.
Protect Your Investment
Shields your dash, seats and trim from fading, cracking and sun damage, preserving the interior and the resale value.
Glare Reduction
Cuts glare from the sun and from headlights at night for a clearer, less fatiguing view of the road.
Advanced Technology
Hitek films use cutting-edge materials with no metal layer, so there's zero interference with phone, GPS, radio or toll-tag signals.
Classic, Ceramic IR & Windshield Film
Every film we carry is engineered to last and backed by Hitek's factory lifetime warranty against delamination and color change. The difference is how much heat each one rejects.

Classic
Our most cost-effective dyed window film, engineered to last and backed by a factory lifetime warranty. Expect long-lasting color stability, adhesion and performance. Matches factory tint well, provides great looks and UV protection for years, and has no interference with electronic signals.

Ceramic IR
Our baseline nano-ceramic film with color-stable technology and advanced solar rejection properties. True nano-ceramic construction rejects up to 88% of infrared heat, keeping your cabin cool and shielding you from solar energy without any signal interference. Lifetime color stability and a lifetime warranty on delamination.

Ceramic Clear Windshield
The windshield is the largest piece of glass on the vehicle and lets in the most heat. Hitek's clear windshield film is engineered to block up to 99% of UV and 71% of IR while staying virtually invisible. Ask about adding our 70% Ceramic IR for maximum heat rejection and protection.
| Film | Construction | UV Rejection | Infrared Rejection | Signal Interference | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Classic | Dyed | Up to 99% | Standard | None | Factory lifetime |
| Ceramic IR | True nano-ceramic | Up to 99% | Up to 88% | None | Factory lifetime |
| Ceramic Clear Windshield | Clear nano-ceramic | Up to 99% | Up to 71% | None | Factory lifetime |
Performance figures are manufacturer ratings and vary by shade. Warranties cover film adhesion and color stability; they do not cover damage from rolling windows down too early, scratches, tears or broken glass.
Choosing a Tint Percentage
Tint is measured by visible light transmission (VLT). The lower the number, the darker the film. Hitek films are available in 5%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 35%, 50% and 70%, so we can match factory privacy glass, go a step darker, or keep the front windows light and legal while still rejecting heat.
Ohio Tint Law at a Glance
- Front side windows: must allow more than 50% of light through.
- Windshield: non-reflective film allowing more than 70% of light through (our clear ceramic windshield film qualifies).
- Rear side and back windows: any darkness.
This is general guidance, not legal advice. Laws change and enforcement varies. You are responsible for making sure your vehicle meets Ohio requirements; we'll always tell you which shades are legal on which windows before we start.

The Tint Process
Pick the Film & Shade
We walk through Classic vs. Ceramic IR, look at the shade chart on your actual glass and confirm what's legal for each window.
Glass Prep
Every window is cleaned inside and out and old film is removed if needed. Clean glass is what keeps contamination to a bare minimum.
Cut & Install
Film is precision cut, heat-shaped to the curve of the glass and installed by hand with edges tucked cleanly to the seals.
Cure & Care
Leave the windows up for 3 to 5 days while the film cures. A little haze or small water pockets are normal and disappear as it dries.
Good to Know
We cannot guarantee 100% that there will be no contamination when film is applied, but we keep it to an absolute minimum. If your rearview mirror has to be removed to install a windshield strip, we are not responsible for damage that may occur and may decline in order to protect the windshield. Full tint terms are on our Terms & Conditions page.
